(2 customer reviews)

Sourced from the hills surrounding Kodaikanal, it has a strong aroma and a slight bitter aftertaste to it. This honey goes well with green tea.Our honey is raw – our moisture curing technique mimics the way bee themselves remove moisture by swarming and fanning the hive. It is unprocessed – we do a single filter versus the industry standard of triple filter that completely removes all pollen.

This is the honey from the Apis dorsata, quite simply the largest of the honey bees, and arguably the most vicious. These wild bees build their hives in colonies below rocky cliffs or trunks of giant trees. They defend their colonies with aggression and collecting honey from them is a dangerous task, and not for the unskilled or faint hearted.

I tired this product last but should have tried it first, really good honey

The best honey I’ve ever had. I was told the rawness can be felt and the honey also has a slight bitter taste since it’s mostly taken from bees from Jamun tree. I was not at all disappointed. The honey has a pure raw taste with a slight bitterness. Once I’m done with this, I’m going to order for the other flavors.
